i was installing (actually re-installing) ms office on this computer. we were about 33% into the install when the internet service shut down in trying to start again, it says that an install is in progress and try again later. what to do?

Problem with OneDrive
Hi Everyone,
We recently just moved our company over to Microsoft Office 365, we thought the idea of having the most recent version of the Microsoft programs was a great feature and we loved the service we received from GoDaddy in the past (we host our domains with them so bought the package through them as well)
Our business used to work off Dropbox. We had a file tree consisting of two main folders then a series of subfolders containing a mixture of word documents, excel documents and pdf's. We had a Dropbox subscription running on each machine so all 5 employees could work simultaneously without the concern of duplicate copies being made; with the option of accessing the data offsite. With GoDaddy's free upgrade to 1TB of online space and compatibility with the other office programs we saw that it made sense to make the change over.
The folder we are talking about consists of 4,000 folders 52,500 files and is a total of 17.5 GB in size. Not enormous but a fair whack of data I know. As our company runs of BT Fibre with an upload speed of over 5mb we would expect upload speeds to be quick as they were with Dropbox.
I tried transferring a copy of this data into the OneDrive for Business desktop app so that it could upload to the OneDrive cloud servers. 5 days later and the information still isn't available on the online console. Initially we thought it was a problem with the program so I transferred the data to another computer to upload. Still the same problem, on the smaller of the 2 main folders I could see everything, but the larger (about 16GB) I could only view about half the folders and even then there were no files inside.
After ringing GoDaddy for advice I was advised to ring Microsoft direct.
3 hours and 4 technicians later I was no closer, it appeared that because I was sold the product through GoDaddy, Microsoft had disowned their software and refused to help at all. Insisting that even though it was their software that wasn't working and their servers we were trying to upload our data too it was GoDaddy who would have to help us.
I have since mapped my OneDrive folder to the other computers in the office locally so that people can still work while the data is being uploaded but we are not able to access the information outside the network. All in all, we are in a worse position that when we started out a week ago and no one has any answers for us.
Just to confirm, the service we have received from GoDaddy has been outstanding as usual. They have done everything they can to help us, but as a company we feel that Microsoft will have the answers as it is their software after all but they just seem reluctant to give us any information.
Any comments or suggestions any of you may have would be great.

Upload center doesn't show uploaded files (pending or recently uploaded)
Hi,
I'm using Office 365 and Onedrive to synchronise documents from a sharepoint site. Synchronisation works without problems and files can be uploaded and downloaded from the sharepoint site to my harddrive. However, I don't see any activity in the upload center application. For instance, when I add a new file to my offline folder after a while it is uploaded and I can see it online. However, in the upload center I can't see this file - neither in the "Pending uploads" or "Recently uploaded" views (the recently uploaded view is always empty).
I've also tried to see if files would show up in the "Pending uploads" view if would "Pause uploads" and add a new file to the offline folder. However, this also doesn't produce any activity in any of the views of the upload center.
Any idea / suggestions about what could be going on?

Export to Excel fails with "cannot connect to the server"
I have a user with IE8 using our SharePoint Online 2013 site. In a list that she has design rights to, she selects "Export to Excel", opens the query file in a new workbook and then gets the error "cannot connect to the server at this time. changes to the data cannot be saved".
She checked her Internet Options and the "publisher's certificate revocation" was unchecked.
Since others can export to excel, it must be either her Office or Browser settings.
Any recommendations on what else to check so she can establish an owssvr connection between excel and the sharepoint site?

Loosing some of my notes on Outlook people/contact sheets
Hi. the notes field in people contacts on Outlook, Office 365 gets truncated after syncing with my windows phone. I end up with my notes about a contact being shortened to what is visible in the Notes field without scrolling down. Am I alone in this and is there a solution?

Office 365 Desktop Setup installation error
I am having a problem using Outlook 2007 with Office 365 mail - cant get the Desktop Setup to work on pc (lenovo A720), laptop (Toshiba R830). Would sincerely appreciate any help/advice.
Details:
WIn 7 / 64 bit; Office 2007 installed; all up to date; Office 365 Desktop Setup throws error: "An error occurred attempting to install Microsoft Office 365 Desktop Setup." More information directs me to log file - at the end, after it says .net 2 installed ok: "
URLDownloadToCacheFile failed with HRESULT '-2146697202'
Error: An error occurred trying to download 'http://g.microsoftonline.com/0BX00EN/436?!/Office365DesktopSetup.application'.
Tried fixes found online, no luck - reinstall Java, clean IE cache, IE as default browser.

Latest update causes all Office apps to crash on File tab (backstage view)
So I'm not entirely sure if this is the latest Windows updates or the latest (this week's) Office 365 update, but now on one PC Office crashes if you click the File tab in any application. Quick repair didn't fix this. Full Online repair didn't fix this. Now I'm going to try a full uninstall and reinstall. So far just one PC is having this issue, but only a handful of machines has done all this weeks' updates in Windows and Office (this one had). Anyone else seeing this?
It happens in Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote. Sometimes it crashes right on the File tab click, sometimes when you click Save or Open, and always crashes if you try to click the Office Account choice.

"Page Not Found" error intermittently on SharePoint Online Public Website

Appreciate your assistance in the below.
I have been facing this really weird issue when browsing to the Public website for SharePoint Online. The welcome page sometimes results in "Sorry, something went wrong An unexpected error has occurred." and the URL points to PageNotFound.aspx (http://domain/Seiten/PageNotFoundError.aspx?requestUrl=http://domain/Seiten/home.aspx)
It happens intermittently on all browsers and whether signing in as a Full Control user or anonymous.
Since I was working on some customizations, I test a blank page and also resulted in the same issue.
I don't have access to the logs to check what is going on even though in the error they provide no details other than the correlation token.
Please let me know if you need additional details.

OneDrive won't sync after Repair tool applied
We use Office365 enterprise version and I have user who was having sync issues yesterday. I applied all troubleshooting I could find through Microsoft including using the Repair tool and performing an uninstall/reinstall. The OneDrive libraries will not sync from cloud to machine or vice versa.
Any suggestion is welcome!

Office 2010 No Longer Supported via Office 365?
When I signed up for Office 365 last year, I was told that our users could use either Office 2010 or 2013. Our business applications do not support Office 2013, so we must use 2010. Now my users are being prompted for Office 365 credentials and when they enter them in correctly, they receive a "No Subscription Found" error message (error code 0000001E). I understand from some users that they are being prompted hourly.
I opened a case with the Office 365 support team, and they said that Microsoft is no longer supporting Office 2010 and is phasing users to 2013. I did not receive notification about this nor can I do this.
Does anyone have information about this?
